NR reroutes trains.

It seems that NR are now running a number (possibly all) of their Adelaide==>
Sydney and Adelaide ==> Brisbane trains via Melb.
Previously these trains ran via Broken Hill.

I must confess that I cant see any sort of logic in doing this , the running
time via Melb is significantly longer ,(about 9 hours) mainly due to the
poorer track and the slower running times.
Also the loads are much more restricted due to the Adelaide Hills.
Also , I gather that this means that the possibility of the southern leg of
the Parkes Triangle ever being built is now zero, could be the reason maybe.
Also it seems that MP5/PM6 on Thursdays has been permanatly cancelled.
Has this train been lost to road or to another carrier.

cheers
