Errr , can you kindly elaborate on the above , does this mean that a train
hauled by a single NR is limited to 900 tonnes thru the Adelaide hills,or
that trains hauled by multiple NRs only are limited to 900 tonnes per NR.
Also does the mixed configuration ie NR plus something else , assume that
the something else is super series ,(eg BL,G) or non super series like the
C.
Either way 900 tonnes for a 4000 HP loco on 1:45 is pretty hopeless.

It also doesnt make much sense if one looks at the permitted loads over other
steeply graded lines,eg Unanderra to Summit Tank (single NR 965 tonnes on
1:33)
