Wrong Road between Parramatta and Blacktown

Does anyone have any details of the safe working arrangements that were in
place in the Up direction between Blacktown and Parramatta (in Sydney) this
weekend?

Down trains worked along the Down Main, and Up trains worked wrong
road along the Down Suburban. The Up Main and Up Suburban where out
of use for track maintenance.

The Down Suburban, along which the Up trains were running has no
bi-directional signaling, so there were no fixed signals at all for the
trip from Blacktown to Parramatta).

I'm assuming the whole distance from Blacktown to Parramatta was made one
section (this would account for the much reduced service this weekend on
the Penrith line) and absolute block working used. But how did they deal
with such things as the trip arm mechanisms not being left in the raised
position so as not to interfere with the train travelling wrong road?

Regards,

Albert.
