Some good news.

Noticed on my annual Xmas pilgramige down to Melb for Xmas dinner that there
is some progress on fixing up the main southern line.
Wagga loop is being extended to approx 1400 metres from its current 900.
The extension is at the Junee end with the new loop starting immediately after
the Wagga Viaduct has finished.
Sadly this was the only sign of any improvements between Junee & Melb even
though a number of the other loops are earmarked for improvement as well.
Also noticed on the VIC side that some of the signal gantries over the SG line
have been removed and replaced with signals on posts on the side of the line
although there doesnt seem to be any logic to it.
Glenrowan and Longwood loops are 2 examples.

cheers
MD
