Actually, I am the Dickhead of the Week, for not realising Roderick
Smith's post about a US consultant's report on Melbourne transport was a
hoax. My only excuse is that I read it quickly, in great alarm, and
should have picked up the joke about non-polluting transport in Johnston
Street using underground cables.
On the other hand I have seen so many consultants' reports on transport
that I am almost at the stage of believing no idea is too crackpot
for them to suggest.
