That would increase the price of food and other goods carried on trucks.
Though economic logic is for the user pays principle (ie heavy vehicles
pay more than lighter vehicles), I'd rather see (on social equity
grounds) people having to pay more for transport (either private or
public) than for food, as food is an even more basic need than transport.
