I saw B1 2001 and a B2 from an elevated position (okay, I was at the
Spencer St Tavern on my way home....), and noted that the B1 has 2
trolley poles. The B2's have only 1. Anyone ever seen an articulated
tram (ie, B1 class) running on a pole only??

Only once in 4 years of travelling to uni on the Bundoora line did I see
a panto failure (or any failure for that matter) - on that occasion a
temporary trolley pole was installed on the spot.

Cheers,
Craig.
