NZR Df-class locos came before the Dg-class ones (ie a Dg is half a Df;
not a Df is double a Dg).
>From Palmer & Stewart 'Cavalcade of New Zealand locomotives':
Df: 2-Co+Co-2, 108 tons (110 t) 12SVT engine, 1500 hp (1100 kW), six
traction motors, with a one-hour rating of 1170 hp (900 kW).
Ten were introduced in 1954-55. The book does not give the location of
manufacture. The order for a further 21 Df-class locos was converted
into one for 42 Dg-class locos.

11 Dg-class locos (A1A-A1A) were reclassified Dh; they had had the
springing adjusted to put more weight on the traction axles.

We don't get many Malaysian netters. Probably people from this newsgroup
should provide the information on KTM's EEs.
All 0-6-0 shunting locos have been withdrawn, but some are plinthed.
There is an Australian-rebuilt loco running there now; is it a rebuilt
EE?

Posting to the sartrain mailing list could bring up information on
Zimbabwe EE units.
