The last para was a corker: 'Others in Government were more blunt: "People
like to use cars. You will never make a cracker out of rail."'
I didn't think making money was the objective - the rather bald faced
assessments by other MPs or the NSW Treasury explains some recent decision
making though. All this against that recent poll on road vs PT spending.
