idea

Here's an idea

How about timing a Sprinter service departing Ararat shortly after the
daylight Overland stops at Ararat station? This way passengers coming over
on the daylight Overland could continue on by Sprinter to destinations such
as Ballarat, Baccus Marsh, & Melton. Likewise there could be a late night
sprinter service departing Melbourne via Ballarat that arrives at Ararat
just before the Overland arrives there.

There might even be merit on having Sprinter services arriving to/from
Mildura to link up with the services outlined above so that someone in
Maryborough could travel to/from Adelaide.

Would such services attract good patronage?

cheers Peter
