The Alice Springs rail passenger station is to get a
$60,000 "facelift", funded 50/50 by the NT Government
and GSR. According to local mee-ja, the new look is
expected to be "fully operational" by August.
I understand the so called "facelift" will be a few
shade cloth "sails" and the odd native shrubs.
Well, ...you dont get much for $60,000 these days.!
