What? You mean, the NSW Australian "Labor" Party actually stepping in when
the market economy obviously fails? C'mon, this is the Brave New Era, the
"Labor" Party isn't interested in the public provision of transport-related
services.... unless you're talking about a nice marginal seat currently
occupied by a crony of the NSW Right faction. (cf. the purchase of North &
Western and Parramatta-Ryde bus companies on behalf of the STA - so what
about the rest of the greedy self-serving bus industry, Mr. Carr & Mr.
Scully?)
