Some interesting story that I heard on the Channel 7 QLD news on Saturday
evening 5/5/01.
An EMU was passing through Bowen Hills when a QR employee on board witnessed
a passenger smoking. The passenger apparently became violent and set fire
at one end of the train (I'm not sure which end it was).
Estimated damage (according to the news report) is close to $1 million.
Can anyone confirm exactly what happened?
