You're right Dave, the Australian Union movement would probably kill the
idea before if got off the ground, afterall they have the mentality to
always look for a reason "not" to do something rather than look for a reason
to go along with it.

Then we have the situation that if they decide they will goalong with it
they then demand ridiculus bonus/benefits etc that kills the idea straight
away, thus the status quo is retained.

This is probably why Country link is wallowing in the same horrendus work
practices and industrial relations that they suffered in the early 70's and
the end result is that the paying passenger suffers, lets forget about the
freeloaders, pensioners and students they don't count, although there seems
to be more of them than actual full fare paying customers.
