I think it might be extension of current timetable.
Say if it takes 20 hours to get from Alice Spring to Darwin for the 1400km
and based on GSR's press release of 2 weekly between Alice Spring and Darwin
on peak tourist season:
Sydney 1310
Melbourne 2230
Adelaide 955/1500 1215/1500
Alice Spring 1000/1300 1000/1300 (possibly off train tour available at
Alice Spring)
Darwin 900 900
Darwin 1400 1400
Alice Spring 1000/1300 1000/1300
Adelaide 845/1010 900/1015
Melbourne 2040
Sydney 945
Summer off peak tourist season the train will only runs once weekly north of
Alice Spring. But would they keep twice weekly services between Adelaide and
Alice Spring?
Cheers
James
