Re: English Train Crash

A Land Rover or Range Rover was towing a car on a trailer, when (for some reason) it
left the M62 and ended up on the East Coast Main Line. The driver tried to ring the
emergency services but, whilst he was on the phone, an early morning GNER passenger
train, travelling south, hit the Land Rover. The train derailed, but stayed upright.
It was then struck by a coal train travelling in the other direction - this caused
the fatalities and most of the injuries.
