Box Hill Central never was a transport interchange: this was just a name
used so that a shopping centre could get the land.
The buses are separated from the trains.
Traffic chaos is so bad that many buses don't call there:
VLine Mansfield ones; Ringwood to airport ones.
As noted, the tram won't go there either.
At an early public meeting, there was support for an extension to
Middleborough Rd.
At an earlier stage, the owning company hinted its desire to extend via
Tram Rd to Doncaster Shoppingtown.
