[Qld] Weird Brisbane train

I got onto a Gold Coast train tonite consisting of sets 107 and 105. They
had obviously been in for a minor overhaul as they both had yellow doors.

However the interior is what had changed most. The standard Brisbane style
standee bars in the vestibules have been replaced with strap hangers.
Handles have been fitted to the plug door pivots.

These changes are minor compared to car IM 8107 and its equivalent in set
105. The 2+2 seating in the main vestibule (40 seats) has been replaced by
15 longitudinal seats on one side and 15 tip up seats on the other side
allowing for 6 wheelchair places.

There must be some reason for it as I have never seen more than one
wheelchair passenger on these trains at a time. Given the number of standees
on the Gold Coast services in the mornings I hope these sets are used for
other things.
