The SA opposition has come out in support of public bonds. I suspect the
NT government will also support the move, since it still offers
Territory Bonds to relatively small investors.[1]

[1] For as little as $500, compared to a typical minimum of $5,000 for
other states.[2]  The latest prospectus for Territory Bonds will be of
interest to railfans. If you can read Adobe PDF format, see the last

[2] Less than 20 years ago, you could buy Commonwealth Bonds for as
little as $20. All together, follow the bouncing ball: "Aussie Bonds,
Aussie Bonds, the savings bonds backed by Australia....."
