Several years ago I was given a NSWGR duck egg logo from an engine
that crashed into one of the turntable pits at Broadmeadow Loco many
years ago. I am trying to identify which locomotive it came from.
The gent who souvenired it told me he though it was from either a 40
or a 43 class - I think.
Can anyone please help identify this for me? There mustn't have been
too many accidents with locos going into the pit.
