Anolther pathetic bleat from operators looking for any excuse to avoid
providing a service.
I missed my train home from Spence St tonight, not because the machines
were vandalised, but because one was being emptied of coins, one had
failed, the third had a long queue and the sole ticket window had a long
queue: inadequate provision for a major station.
Ticket machines in many other countries work, and provide better
functionality than do Melbourne's.
