Investigations are underway into the cause of two train accidents in the
Hunter yesterday. A Freightcorp spokeswoman says yesterday morning a
National Rail locomotive and a Freightcorp train collided near the
Hunter bulk terminal at Tighes Hill. Meanwhile, two railway track
vehicles collided near Maitland yesterday afternoon, injuring a Mayfield
man.
