The proposed busway would have terminated at the current location of
Tonsley station.

I sometimes think it would be a good idea to convert the entire
Adelaide rail network to light rail. This would allow extensions of
the network to locations new locations. Obvious examples that spring
to mind are extension of the Tonsley line to Flinders Medical Centre
and Flinders Uni. Parking is a huge problem in that area, although I
suppose the terrain would make this difficult. Anyone for cable cars?
Also, I often thaught that a small branch line to Marion Shopping
centre (the largest centre in the state) would be an excellent idea.

Oh well, one can only dream
