Re: [MELB]Early sunday trains

A few weeks ago I had to start work in the city on a Sunday at 7:45 am - not
that early surely. The building owner was turning the power off for repairs
and computer gear doesn't like that sort of thing. With my monthly Metcard
ready, I checked the timetable on the Alamein line only to discover that I
couldn't get to Flinders St. before 8:00 am.
Checked the East Burwood tram timetable - first tram leaves Warrigal Rd. at
7:01 to arrive at Flinders St. at 8:34 am. Way to go - except, would you
believe it - some goose stacks his car in Riversdale Rd. and we are held up
for 20 mins while the emergency services hose down the road.
Next time, it will have to be the car. Damn!
