Alexander Berry and Edward Wollstonecraft were business partners, meeting in
June 1812. Berry married Wollstonecraft's sister in 1827.

Berry and Wollstonecraft were granted 10,000 acres on the Shoalhaven by
Governor Brisbane in 1822. Crows Nest farm cottage was built by Edward
Wollstonecraft in 1820 - demolished 1905. Crows Nest House, a much grander
establishment nearby, was the residence of Alexander Berry.
