Re: QR restructure coming?

The major changes announced yesterday were the reformation of a Passenger
Services Group and a Coal and Freight Services Group.

The former Metropolitan and Regional Services Group (MARS) and the National
Development Unit have been disbanded .

Freight control centres are also moved to Network Access Group although
Citytrain Control stays with Passengers Services Group.

A Corporate Services Group has also been formed incorporating most of the
former Deputy Chief Executive's Group.

The Environment Division has been moved from Technical Services group to the
revamped Safety and Environment Strategy Unit.

Operations divisions have been renamed Service Delivery Divisions and there
are now only two - Passenger and Coal & Freight.

Two Group General Managers are leaving QR (One has already gone).
