I thoroughly recommend a short detour from the Stuart
Highway into Woomera if any of you get the chance.

There is a museum with plenty of great exhibits
including a great outdoor display of jet planes rockets
and other remnants of the ELDO project.

ELDO comes out as the European Launcher Development
Organisation, which used the British Blue Streak rocket
for their endeavors.

Believe me, well worth a look.
