Why should they treat you with respect and give you what you want? As BEE
EFF said, being in the cab of a moving loco on the main line without
authorisation from a higher authority is illegal. Even staff of a railway
operator can be fined for being in the cab of a loco if they don't have
proper authorisation (Would you believe the CEO of QR does not have the
privelige of travelling in the cab of a loco/suburban when ever he likes).
Even if you do somehow manage to get a cab ride, you keep it very hush hush
or else the driver can be fined and/or punished. Anyway, why should the
railways do anything for you? You are of no real significance to them. They
will always laugh in your face with your current attitude. Get your act
together idiot, or leave the railfan community pronto before we kick you
out. You're the type that gives us gunzels a bad image to the railway
operators.

BTW You're bullshitting is rather pathetic in my book. Official Photographer
for NRC indeed ... lol.
