What sort of current info?
- 2-8-4 branch line loco (built to run on 45lb. rail)
- Built by North British 1948
- 100 built
- A few still in regular service on the George - Knysna branch
- Is there one in Queensland yet?
- 27,600lb tractive effort

Have a look at http://business.lantic.net/trains - Friends of the Rail in
Pretoria operate a class 24 amongst other locos, there are quite a few
pictures and mpg's on this site.
