You are kidding aren't you? What did you spend your $200 on? If you had
spent it on a decent accounting package (I use MYOB First Accounts V3.5,
more than enough for any small business) you would be right. I spend about
10 mins a day on it, put in about 20 transactions, and at the end of the
quarter BASLink prepares my BAS for me. All I have to worry about is having
the money ready to pay (hmmmm, that reminds me, I was supposed to phone them
on Monday and ask for time to pay the $4276 I owe them for the December
quarter!) Preparing the BAS takes me about 2 minutes, due to the software I
use, and the software was paid for by the government.
