K was not designed for conversion..
 Nothing is impossible,but there is the little problem of the frame being 
in the way of the wheels. ie the frame is not narrow enough.
If you want to muse over hypothetical's,work out how to get any remaining 
J class out of parks and back on track.sg or bg.
You would be aware that they and R class where designed for conversion.
The J was conceived as the locomotive to replace the D and K class so 
wouldn't it be ironic if some time in the future that's what they do with 
sg tours.
