No, 3 CM ran with the pan up and the traction equipment isolated. It was
never repainted and ran as a normal CM after OI Car went into service.

Have photos of every 3 CM set that ran as greaser, if required.

The OI Car entered service as OI Car and was unclassed until about 1984
when computerisation of records required a class/number. At that time it
became 1447M but this ID was never externally applied.

Thats a good question. The OH clas came into existance in 1951 for the
gippsland electrification and ran as one train. The H vans with modified
roofs were in use from 1918 for the Melb elec project.
