If this is true ,it demonstrates again the total absurdity of having
State Governments involved in the regulation of Railways.
Why would in -line re fuelling be dangerous just in the State of
Victoria.
Its either dangerous everywhere or it isnt.

And just exactly what is the risk?
That the diesel fuel might leak whilst it being pumped between the
tanker and the loco.?

The Victorian of Transport doesnt give a stuff when semis loaded with
fuel overturn and dump their load all over the Hume Highway.
Just another example of State based anti rail regulation.
The sooner State Govts get out of rail altogether ,the more hope 
the Australian Rail industry has, and it needs all the help it can
get.
