Re: Chifley engine wait



I don't think Clyde Engineering (or whatever they call themselves now) will
pay for that, if I'm correct Clyde number 1 (a similar type) is sitting up
at Valley Heights in need of new boiler tubes amongst other things. I don't
see them opening up the cheque book for that.

Another thing, it is not Ben Chifley's personal engine although he may have
driven it a couple of times.

I predict the politicans will order a comestic restoration and be placed in
front of a new shopping centre, park or council building in Bathurst just
like 1042 from Cardiff ended up in a park.
