Parramatta's Labor MP, Ms Gabrielle Harrison, has publicly chastised the
Minister for Transport, Mr Scully, for being "discourteous" by failing
to give rail commuters commitments about their train services. Her
attack follows criticism from another NSW Labor backbencher, Mr Paul
Gibson, that the Government's decision to ditch its timetable for
building the 27-kilometre Parramatta-Chatswood rail link was a "kick in
the guts" for Western Sydney.
