I have WORSE news about the Yaraka train! The TGV vans used on both
the Yaraka and Hughenden-Winton services have been withdrawn due to
being UNSAFE for passenger travel. QR wrote to me AGAIN on the matter!

I suggested that the ARHS run a tour to Yaraka during the Winter school
holidays, next year. And, that a sleeping car be attached to the
regular Brisbane-Yaraka freight, which leaves every Wednesday.
