I went to Brisbane on Fri.6.4 evening with Virgin - rail couldn't have got
me from Melbourne to Brisbane for my Saturday event.
Rail is usually useless for this journey: expensive, and a refusal to
provide connections.
I saw the XPT arrive in Brisbane less than an hour late on Sunday, and over
2 hours late on Tuesday.
