The reason why Cityhoppers are available from the BOM'S and not the day trippers, because Cityhoppers are only abled to be used in the city.Where as the Day tripper can be used anywhere in the metropolitan area.People we getting extended use of their day tripper to Gosford, W'gong etc..., so whats why they took the day trippers from the BOM's in the booking office at your station
