[NSW] trainpage update: newly repainted blue & white car

trendy's trainpage at: www.geocities.com/trendy_rechauffe has just been
updated with photos of one of State Rail's preserved single-deckers (C3444),
which  has just been repainted in the blue and white colour scheme that it
ran in during the 1970s.

Photos of this car taken in May and September at Redfern Carriage works,
show how it looked before, during and after the repaint.

The car is unlikely to run again as it is in very poor condition, however
Historic Electric Traction (who repainted this car for State Rail) is likely
to repaint another car for use on tours.

The Sydney Electric Train Society also has plans to repaint one of their
cars in blue and white. Hopefully they will have some of their carriages
running again in the near future.

Both organisations are at the Liverpool model railway exhibition this long
weekend, where they can be contacted for further information.
