[nsw]Tram Stalls on hill

Today (Tue. 26/09/00) around noon, Sydney Light Rail tram 2104 (the Apple
cart) stalled in light rain climbing from Hay Street to Railway Colonnade.
Passengers walked up the hill and eventually the car recovered traction.

The growing crowd of SRA smoke-break observors wondered what SLR's
wet-weather traction options are. Do the cars have sanding gear? Maybe a
bucket of sand? Is there a bank engine? Is 23s still based at Ultimo?

Ooohh!! Olympics!
