Penrith people were advised to use the southside if possible due to buses
etc on the northern side. Also, there have been heavy crowds at peak times
from the north side (from the buses) and it is a bit of a walk to get in and
out of the (temporary but should be used until developed) northern carpark
in the old defence site (also a park and ride for the Regatta Centre). I
noticed on Wednesday that heavy amounts of traffic were trying to get into
that side via Coreen Avenue.



I noticed that the southside carpark (esp when compared to the northside)
has bright new lights as well.
