 Given that the Snowy Hydro system would have just come online or would be
near completion, if they had the desire to build a high speed railway 
between Sydney and Melbourne at that time, they may have very well decided
to go electric and run the railway of Snowy Hydro power, expanding the
generating capacity of the Snowy hydro project appropiately.
