Hi there
Virgin Blue starts BNE-ADL service in FEB 2001, Impulse has said it would
like to operate MEL-ADL with a decision by the end of the year. The low fare
carriers seem not to be competing against each other except probably
SYD-BNE, They will have thier own routes just to keep AN & QF (and trains &
coaches) on thier toes, Maybe you may see some interlining or joint
ticketing for multi sector itineries
 ie: MEL-ADL with VQ ADL-BNE-SYD with DJ and SYD-MEL with VQ. Given that
both airlines operate the HP open skies system this wouldn't be too
difficult to achieve.
