There are still 4(?) X200 class shunters in use in NSW. I think the 73s
count as shunters, still in use as shunters by FreightCorp, Countrylink,
CRT and Manildra.
A handful of RT class rail tractors in Victoria.
QR has 4 DH class shunters in service, and MIM has an ex-DH at Mt Isa.
Does the DL class count as a shunter? They are shunters by design, but
built for pioneer line work. DL4 is still in revenue service after 61
years.
Does the SAR 500 class diesel count as a shunter?
There are numerous shunters around at industrial sidings.
Cheers
