Re: [NSW] Olympic Timetable Day 4, Saturday 16/9/2000

I went to the softball yesterday at Doonside.
The spectator handbook estimated an hour to travel from Penrith.
It only took me about 30 mins.

An enjoyable day seeing the USA beat Canada and China beat Italy.
A grade seating right near 3rd base for only $19.

Return travel was just as good - buses right away. Too bad the train
was 3 minutes late, otherwise it would have been a perfect day.

Platforms 1 and 2 were very full at Doonside (Up). Platforms 3 and 4
were not so bad. I don't think Doonside has ever had so many passengers
at once! :-Þ
