Because of budget cutbacks, ABC Television have had to combine their
new series "Race Around the Melbourne Public Transport System" with
"Bananas in Pyjamas."  The two carriage yellow electric train that you
can see is one of the results. There is a similar train, although not
seen quite so often, that has yellow ends but the sides are painted in
blue and white stripes.
