Becoming a conductor used to be a pre-requisite for becoming a tram
driver.

There seems to be nothing in this ad about promotion to tram driver.

Does anyone know if  Yarra trams will allow these new conductors to move
on to driving, as used to happen?

The "salary neg" looks a bit of a worry.
