I'd say it is a map of the Sydney System as of 1979 when Martin Place
was
opened, as the clock on it (last time I saw it) had Public Transport
Commision of New South Wales written on it.
Why it's still there I don't know, but it's a real antique - take
pictures
of it before CityRail finds out about it!
