Cut train services??

To all.

Today I picked up the local paper (Penrith Press) and came to
a 'stunned' mode when finding an article on train services.

A State MP has warned of a new government plan to try to slash train
services which are the intercity services from the mountains. It is
said that the commuters on that service may have to change trains at
Penrith. This is of course "using fewer trains to carry more people
more slowly to their desinations".

Fortunately Mr Scully (Carl Scully) denied this saying that he plans to
focus on the lessons learnt during the games.


Of course in my view, it is obviously going to be disastrous if this
were to happen as the trains will already be packed like a Sardine Can
by the time it gets to Kingswood!!!
