Re: Melbourne - Darwin receives boost



A casual look at distances of proposed routes doesn't seem to give an inland
east coast route much advantage over Adelaide Alice Darwin for Sydney and
south traffic.

Can see inland SG to Brisbane working fine, can't imagine the rest of it
getting up if Alice Darwin is in place.  Money would be better spent
increasing capacity on southern intercapital routes.
